Devotions

The instructions are simple: just pick which struggle you have been going through, or if you aren't struggling at all, pick a topic that suits you best.  Then, read the Bible verse and think about how God really does care about you.  Remember two things: 1) God can do anything and everything; 2) God loves you more than anything!  Armed with those two truths, you know that the struggles you are going through must be God-ordained.  If He is allowing you to go through a trial, it means that He knows that something very good will come from it.  You are loved and you are being watched over by the Almighty God!


Afraid - Psalm 34:4
       "I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears."


Lonely - Deuteronomy 31:6
       "Be strong and courageous, don’t be afraid, nor be scared of them: for Yahweh your God, he it is who does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.”


Financial Struggle - Hebrews 13:5
       "Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”


Loss - Psalm 22:24
       "For he has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one;he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help."
